DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT – GDPR

If you agree with the below, please reply to this e-mail with the text: I AGREE. Otherwise, we will not be able to proceed with your application. Considering your intention to apply for one of the vacant positions, through our company Job Selection, in accordance with the General Regulation of the European Union on data protection (EU Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”) which is applicable from 25 May 2018, we inform you as follows:
- The purpose of the processing: To carry out the steps related to the recruitment process, with a view to a possible employment with one of the Job Selection Partners, your personal data will be collected and processed by Job Selection and/or the Job Selection Partners. However, the collection and processing of your personal data will be done in compliance with the appropriate guarantees for your fundamental rights and interests, under GDPR conditions.
- Categories of personal data processed: Only the personal data strictly necessary for the purpose mentioned above will be processed. In particular, Job Selection and/or Job Selection Partners will/will process your usual personal data, mentioned in the CV and/or cover letter communicated, including, but not limited to name and surname, image (if any), e-mail address, telephone number, date and place of birth, sex, education level, domicile, address, nationality, country of residence, skills and abilities, employment history, driving license, education level, professional certifications , to which are added any other data communicated by you or requested for the purpose presented in point 1. above.
- Job Selection and/or Job Selection Partners will not process your personal data from the category of sensitive data [1] – personal data that reveal ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as data regarding health or data regarding the sexual life or sexual orientation of a natural person – with the exception of situations where the processing is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations or, as the case may be, exercising specific rights of the operator or the person concerned in the field of employment and social security and social protection, in accordance with the applicable legislation (eg: data resulting from occupational medicine activity, in case you will be selected for the position).
- Providing your personal data is voluntary. However, you must be aware of the fact that, without providing the necessary personal data, Job Selection and/or the Job Selection Partners will not be able to proceed with the recruitment process regarding you. Also, in the event that you will be selected for the position you applied for and you refuse to provide us with absolutely necessary data for the conclusion of the individual employment contract, namely: proof of the level of education completed, of the requested certifications, of the experience mentioned in accordance with the requirements of the position and the declared conflict of interest (if a conflict of interest has been declared), it is possible that the respective individual employment contract cannot be concluded, under the conditions of the law.
Your personal data collected for carrying out the steps related to the recruitment process will be retained by Job Selection and/or the Job Selection Partners until the date the position is filled and subsequently for a period of 5 years, for future career opportunities.
- Starting with May 25, 2018, you have the following rights resulting from the EU Regulation on the protection of personal data: the right to access data, the right to rectify or update data, the right to delete data, when a series of conditions are met (for example, if the data is no longer necessary for the above purposes) the right to restriction of processing, the right to be notified of any rectification or deletion or restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to opposition, the right to be notified in case of breach of data security, the right to modify or withdraw your consent regarding the processing of personal data for cases where you have expressed this consent.
