Sommelier – Job Selection
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years of beverage-related experience (shipboard experience = big plus!)
- WSET Level 2 or 3 certification (or equivalent) – a must-have!
- Strong knowledge of international wines and service etiquette.
- Knowledge of varying brands and quality of wines preferred.
- A warm, confident personality – you make wine approachable, not intimidating.
- English at B1 level or above – you can describe a Bordeaux as smoothly as you pour it.
