As a Shop Assistant on a luxury cruise ship, you will support the daily retail operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure guests enjoy a premium shopping experience at sea. Ideal candidate
- Proven work experience as a Shop Assistant or similar role for at least 2 years
- Previous experience on a cruise ship or in a similar industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think strategically
- Knowledge of cash management, receipts, and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with retail software
- Fluency in English is required
Keys Responsibilities
- Assist guests in the onboard shops with product selection and purchases.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, receipts, and cash management procedures.
- Ensure proper display, merchandising, and stock replenishment.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Operate retail software systems and prepare basic reports.
- Support compliance with company standards, public health, and safety regulations.
