Hospitality Operator Jobs on Cruise Ships – Guest Services Career

As a Hospitality Operator onboard a luxury cruise ship, you will be the key point of contact for guests, ensuring that every request, question, or concern is handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You will represent the warmth and excellence of our service, helping guests feel at home while traveling the world.

Your role combines communication, coordination, and care — supporting the seamless flow of onboard operations while creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere for guests from all around the globe.

Ideal Candidate

  • Secondary School (Tourism or Languages is a plus)
  • At least 6 months experience in Hotels in similar positions (receptionist, customer service)
  • Enthusiastic and good communicator
  • At ease with public speaking
  • Problem solving oriented
  • Computer literacy
  • English knowledge B2
  • Other two european languages knowledge B1 / B2
  • Italian knowledge is an advantage
  • Shipboard experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for guest information and service requests.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about cruise services, excursions, and onboard facilities.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction and swift resolution.
  • Manage lost and found, wake-up calls, public announcements, and external communication services.
  • Assist with embarkation and disembarkation operations, including ID and passport management.
  • Utilize internal systems (MS Office, SAPI, Oscar) for administrative and guest-related processes.
  • Monitor safety and guest compliance during onboard activities and excursions.
  • Support a culture of safety and hospitality excellence.
