Digital Assistant Jobs on Cruise Ships – Guest Experience & Tech Support

The Digital Assistant is responsible for managing shipboard retail communication services (Wi-Fi, Internet), the Cruise App, and other onboard digital platforms. This role ensures a seamless guest experience by providing efficient support with digital services while also contributing to revenue and guest satisfaction goals.

Ideal Candidate

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or guest services (ideally in mobile phones or consumer electronics)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data analysis, customer service, and digital platforms
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Languages: English (B2), Italian (B1 or higher), plus a third language (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin) at least at B1

Responsibilities

  • Support guests with Internet, Wi-Fi connectivity, Cruise App, and onboard portal usage
  • Provide clear, patient, and proactive assistance at the Hospitality Desk
  • Handle guest complaints, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with IT/shoreside helpdesk
  • Analyze pre-cruise data regarding guest mix and requirements
  • Monitor digital platform usage and recommend improvements
  • Review revenue performance against cruise-level targets and suggest corrective actions
  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and new digital products
  • Ensure content accuracy on the Cruise App and Onboard Portal
  • Prepare end-of-cruise/season reports with results, analysis, and improvement suggestions
