International Host/Hostess onboard Cruise Ships
We are looking for charismatic and multilingual International Hosts/Hostesses to join our cruise ship team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face for our guests, ensuring smooth communication across languages, assisting with onboard activities, and creating unforgettable experiences through excellent service and public engagement.
Ideal Candidate
- Secondary school diploma in Tourism or Humanities
- Minimum 6 months of experience in tourism (reception, guest assistance, or similar)
- Proficiency in English and German (minimum B2 level)
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse audiences
- Enthusiastic, communicative, and problem-solving oriented
- Sales skills considered an advantage
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist international guests throughout their cruise journey
- Provide translation and communication support in English and German
- Host events, presentations, and activities with confidence in public speaking
- Offer guidance and assistance at reception and during excursions
- Collaborate with the guest services team to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Promote onboard services and excursions (sales skills are a plus)
