Youth Security Officer or Cruise Ships
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Security Officer to join onboard a luxury cruise ships. If you have a strong background in working with youth and prior law enforcement experience, this role offers a unique opportunity to ensure the safety and well-being of minors while traveling to incredible destinations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the safety of minors onboard while maintaining a secure environment.
- Interact professionally with teens and young passengers, addressing concerns or issues promptly.
- Enforce safety, security, and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to support a safe and enjoyable onboard experience for all guests.
- Participate in ongoing training, including RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Customer Service modules.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with youth in schools or similar settings, with direct interaction with minors. Previous law enforcement experience with teens is mandatory.
- Certification: Basic STCW Training (mandatory).
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
- Open to both males and females.
