Security (RSA) Supervisor for Cruise Ships
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security (RSA – Responsible Alcohol Service) Supervisor to join aboard luxurious cruise ships. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven background in security, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and crew.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and enforce the Responsible Alcohol Service (RSA) policies to ensure safe and compliant alcohol distribution across all venues.
- Conduct routine security patrols, especially in nightlife areas such as nightclubs, lounges, and bars.
- Intervene promptly and effectively in alcohol-related incidents, ensuring the safety of guests and crew.
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with passengers and staff.
- Adhere to and enforce Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in onboard RSA training programs, including customer service and alcohol management modules.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in security, with proven experience in patrolling and managing safety in nightlife or hospitality venues.
- Education: High School Diploma (required).
- Certification: Basic STCW Training (mandatory before joining the ship).
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Gender: Preferably males (due to operational needs).
