We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team onboard a luxury cruise ship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant and hospitality management, with a focus on fine dining. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations.
- Lead and train a small team of culinary and service staff.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, service, and presentation.
- Maintain a detailed focus on guest experience and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other onboard departments to enhance overall guest experience.
- Develop and implement restaurant policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory, budgets, and cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain strong organizational and communication skills.
Requirements
- International restaurant/hotel management certification.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in operating within the cruise, hotel, or hospitality industry, specifically in fine dining.
- Proven experience in leading and training a small team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest experience and satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and onboard teams.
