Assistant Tour Manager for Cruise Ships
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Tour Manager to join our exceptional team aboard luxury cruise ships. If you are passionate about travel, guest satisfaction, and team management, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing onboard and onshore tour operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Coordinate with tour operators, manage bookings, and oversee the execution of excursions.
- Supervise and support the tour team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Actively promote and sell excursions to guests, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to tours or excursions.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation using MS Office tools.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary School Diploma (required); Degree in tourism or languages (preferred).
- Experience: Proven track record in sales or tour operations with previous onboard experience in the same role.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in staff management and supervision.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Italian; proficiency in one additional language from French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
